2021 Christmas Tree Gala
The Junior Civic League is a local organization that helps other organizations in health and well-being, education, youth, and culture. The Junior Civic League currently consists of 50 women between 21 and 48 who serve on six primary committees. The mission is to establish partnerships and increase community involvement through fundraising/distribution of financial support for local organizations.
The annual Gala has grown into the League's most significant event and fundraiser. Over the last decade, approximately $500,000 has been raised through Gala and given back to the community through over 200 charitable organizations. For 2021, Hometown Automotive was honored to be a Platinum Sponsor of the event! The funds raised in this year's event were donated to 8 local organizations that applied for the Gala Grant.
Overall, the Junior Civic League secured over 75 donations from local businesses, organizations, and individuals for this year's event. The JCL raises money not only from sponsors but by a silent and live auction. In 2019, the JCL put over $50,000 back into the community through only the Gala Event.
